Anyway, I just re-read my horoscope for 2008 out of my already tattered WeMoon Datebook..they are always so right on with me, and it seems to be the same this year, so I thought I would share. I don’t know if I’m doing a copyright violation, but I’m giving total credit for it to WeMoon and Gretchen Lawlor @ Mother Tongue Ink.
"Year at a Glance for Cancer (June 20-July21)
Friends will open doors for you in 2008--even if they haven’t seen you for years. Who you know is more important than what you know, so forget the resume’s. Someone in a good place wants you to join them; being second in command this year allows you to pick up useful skills. It’ll also likely place you well in the promotion lineup.
A habituated style of speaking and way of listening doesn’t work with new people entering your life. Cultivate conversation skills; you can destroy opportunities by be petulant, or miss out on a fabulous opportunity from unnecessary pessimism. Run unexpected invitations (especially for travel or education) past a friend for an upbeat perspective.
Cancers often overstay in relationships for sentimental reasons. If you’re involved, it is urgent in ‘08 to deal with issues you or your companion preferred to keep buried, even if this means fireworks. Things need to improve substantially, or let each other move on to better things. If you are not involved, the planet of luck is in your house of relationships in 2008, and your relational status could swiftly change. Keep a look out for someone with deep eyes, probably from another country.
Lack of adequate education to take advantage of opportunities in ‘08 can be swiftly remedied through workshops or short courses. Think outside the box, then present your unconventional perspectives in a way that others won’t balk. Sophisticated media and technological wizardry add to your appeal.

Off to Listen to Enya to try to fall asleep....
Peace,
OC
I am cancer too. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't sleep either. I HATE DST because I am a morning person, and now it's dark all over again in the mornings. I wish we would just leave time alone!
ReplyDeleteGG
I'll have to check that out...I am taurus (full-blooded, I might add!)
ReplyDeleteBe well, OC.

ReplyDeleteWow Z...we are all cancers...we should form the Cancer blogging group...
ReplyDeleteGG...I'm so not with you on the DST...except for getting used to it, I love it..I love getting my daylight at night...but getting used to the time change is brutal..especially for me, the one in the fall where we lose an hour at night...yuck.
Mapi....a Tauras with a Mac..could be a deadly combination!
VG...what I knew AZ didn't do DST..but I can't remember the other state that doesn't. I'll have to remember the blue on black thing, except it's so pretty!
OK CJ..spill it..which paragraph is more interesting??
Note to self: Need to stop thinking outloud when posting comments. :)
ReplyDeleteNote to CJ...please don't...:)
