Torn Meni - s- cus....no no...say it's not so!

So I went to the orthopedist on Friday, it looks like I do indeed have a torn meniscus (sp??). He said we could wait and watch it, or we do surgery on it. I opted for the surgery. They are going to do it tomorrow. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to get it scheduled for a few weeks at best, but they had a cancellation for tomorrow, so I'm having it done tomorrow.

I'll be home for a few days, then off to recover in the salt mines. I cant' wait...seriously I can, but that's only if I'm popping pain pills right and left, and that's not my style. So off I got tomorrow to get scoped..I wonder if I can get pictures??

Sorry to hear about this, but I know that knee surgery has evolved greatly. I'm sure you'll be back up and going in no time with less pain than you expect. My sweetie had an arthroscopic knee procedure done a while back and it made a huge difference! Good luck!
