It Totally Sucks

To have to buy both Birthday and Valentines day cards for hubby this year. I was nearly in tears in the card isle, but without telling him this weekend, which I don't want to do, I'm forced into it. The gifts, no problem, the cards, bullpuckey as Rachel would say.

yes, i have been there. its so hard to find cards to fit your situation. i took to making my own. and that goes for hubby and parents cuz no words fit what my reality was.

or you could get a blank one and write in it.

get a blank birthday card and wish him a happy birthday and just let it go.
make a bigger deal about cards from the kids, pups, fish or what ever.

do what you need to do to survive.
don't let your guilt add to your stress.

There are generic or funny cards that make it a little easier.

focus on the kids in all of you for the weekend.
