Blog Stalking...
I admit it, I do it. It’s so strange, looking into someone else’s life. I know people look into mine as well. It’s almost like I’m a peeper. I can look in, take a peek at personal details and run, but that's not really it. I find people so interesting. It seems to me like each one is a small piece to the big human puzzle. Each little nugget is so important. Each blog belongs to someone like me, who has a family, feelings, a life.
I find relief in the anonymity that a blog gives me the illusion of. I also get a secret thrill knowing people are reading about me and my life, my feelings, my mundaneness. I’m not sure if it really matters to anyone but me, but there must be some reason we run into the blog circle that we do.
I know there are many people who have no idea what a blog is, but for those of us that do indeed know, keep on writing, and I’ll keep on reading.
Peace,
OC
Oh, and the above painting is my very favorite, I loved it before it got so popular that it was on everything from coffee mugs to umbrella's, and it seems like the right painting to put up tonight.
I initially started my blog because I owed my sisters e-mail and I figured they could all just read it.
ReplyDeleteThey have never once commented, any of them. And I have met a ton of interesting people.
I don't mind the innocuous stalkers. I did get one who actually stalk stalked me, though. She found out my home address, managed to get the blueprints of my house and even found out where Bing and I worked. Yeah...she is the reason that I have blog moderation and why I don't post pictures. There are good stalkers and bad....
Oh yuck....that is really scary Maria. I hear you about the pictures, hence my OC moniker.
ReplyDeleteyes, the blogging realm seems like a whole other world at times...one i'm glad i am a part of. it has been an increbible learning experience...
