Seriously, I just make a blog called the chronicles of Old Crone's sleeples nights. How she will sit up, sleepy, eye's drooping, and still not wanting to go to bed. So that leaves me with the question. Is it really that I "can't" sleep, or more likely that I don't "want" to sleep?
It doesn't help matters than my new Mac Book came today, and I'm bleary eyed and in love. I knew I was going to love it, and so far I do. The keyboard is much bigger than on my ibook. The keys have more of a "snap" to them. The screen is much larger than my little ibook, but the whole thing is familiar enough to me that it's really easy to work this time around. There really wasn't much of a learning curve with my 1st ibook, but this one, is going to be much easier for me, since I've been a Maccy (is that even a word?) for the better part of a decade.
My poor mom was telling me tonight about all the troubles she is having with her two year old PC...the email isn't working, she is getting all kinds of error messages. I told her then she needed an iMac, but she still has the PC that she won't give up. I really don't understand it. I know PC's run the world, and lots of people like them but I just get so frustrated with them. I feel like, when I'm on a PC, I need to run around the block 10 times to get to the same place I would have gotten on my Mac if I had simply walked next door.
Well folks, I'm actually getting sleepy so I'm off to bed. If this post is full of to many typo's...forgive me...

My mom calls me with the same complaints. I have to do the same computer work that DellHell has working for them from India from across the country to try to help Mom with all her email woes. I have suggested taking a community computer class, but alas...

I love my macbook...they are so fun. Had a dell, and it was okay...but not as good as the mac. Change seems to be hard, at work we went from pc laptops to mac laptops for faculty and there was so much anxiety and grumpy people about it. Course we really didn't have any training...

ReplyDeleteTry it or not it's up to you...one benedryl tabelet will make you sleepy, it will clear up your sinuses and much easier on your liver than the "pm" products or sleeping pills.
