You've found me, the mom of two small children. A few years ago, I figured out, this late in life, that I am Queer. I am looking to the future with hope and promise. Soon to be divorced, and living on my own with my kids. Life on my own terms at last!
I just found your blog thru Brad's. I've been where you are and hang in there. You really are stronger than you believe. You will hve your weak moments, ride thru them and know that tomorrow will bring different emotions, challenges, and direction. Change is difficult, especially when you can't see the ultimate outcome.
Your children will be hurt and confused but will look to you to guide them. Remember always that you are showing them how to love in their adult lives. By staying with someone unhealthy, you are not doing them any favors.
I've been thinking about getting one, that might just push me over the edge...
